Since I stepped onto my mat for the first time, I have learned that yoga is not simply an “exercise” method but a lifelong practice that cultivates the mind, body, and soul.
Practicing yoga has helped me create a body/mind connection that I have never before experienced. It has also increased my ability to cope with stress and enjoy daily life more.
I am a qualified advanced teacher with Yoga Alliance RYT500 for Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa style. I also studied Yin yoga with Sarah Powers and Jo Phee, Mindfulness Meditation with Jack Kornfield. I am interested in learning the spiritual and scientific explanation of this beautiful ancient practice, combined with Eastern and Western philosophy, Neuroscience and Chinese traditional medicine. Introducing others to the magic of yoga is one of my passions! I absolutely love learning and sharing the practise and knowledge of yoga with people.
I like to guide my classes through movement focused on skeletal alignment, muscular engagement, and attention to breathing. I encourage all to show up to the yoga mat, move with positivity and focus.
Yoga can help alleviate pain and suffering with the following, among others: Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Ulcers, Low blood pressure, High blood pressure, Thyroid Issues, Sciatica, Multiple sclerosis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Scoliosis.
I teach individual and group lessons at venues throughout Cambridgeshire and regularly post online on my Facebook page for the attention of all who feel they may benefit.

I hope to contribute to individual health and happiness, assisting students to be a positive influence on those around them.
